PHILOSOPHY OF PROGRESSION TOWARDS BETTER OVERALL PERFORMANCE
The sustainable development process undertaken by an organization must be part of an overall philosophy for continuous improvement. This must be part of a learning process that aims to implement best practices and achieve established sustainable development goals. Several methodologies and theories are compliant with the program requirements.
The purpose of the ECORESPONSIBLE™ is to recognize any type of organization that has mastered the issues of sustainable development management. From one level to the next, each organization acquires a better understanding of the concepts, includes the concerns and interests of its stakeholders in its process, sets benchmarks, implements concrete actions, aims to achieve precise objectives, and use operational mechanisms to measure progress and report on it.
In 2017-2018, COESIO completely revised the program's specifications to ensure greater accuracy in the assessment of organizational compliance, in collaboration with ECOCERT Canada.
FOUR CERTIFICATION LEVELS
The ECORESPONSIBLE™ certification program respects the ability of organizations to progressively improve their performance in sustainable development management. To fully understand the philosophy of continuous improvement of the four (4) levels of ECORESPONSIBLE™ certification program, we set out below the nuances in the requirements that recognize improvement efforts for each level and the passage to higher levels.
